Well, if you manage to spend that amount of money on 2x Geforce 8800 GTX, you should have no problem going after the Enermax galaxy 1kW (if the card gives you a PCI-E power adapter, perfect to use it on spare rails that you aren't using on the drives)

Funny. Someone will spend $1200 on just the graphics subsystem but will cut corners and not get the fastest processor available.

Ok first of all. I do at the moment prefer AMD due to the float point multiplier are WAY WAY better on AMD than INTEL. Secondly how am i cutting corners when i basically have the best of the best? THe 8800 Ram aint worth jack since they dont have low latency yet. When they do, maybe i will pick one up. Until then i stick with what works for me.

Thirdly IF the enermax 1kW will fit in my Antec 180 B Case without any modifications i will get it. If not i will just wait on Thermaltakes 1KW or 1.2 KW

At stock speeds an Intel should still beat that AMD... and I'd bet the farm on which had the most overclocking headroom. When you seemingly have an umlimited budget, I just don't see settling for anything but the best. I'd either choose either Intel Extreme processor over that AMD.

And for the record... I have an AMD X2 in my gaming desktop.
