THIS IS GOING TO BE MY VERY FIRST BUILD. I HAVE NOT YET PURCHASED THESE PRODUCTS YET, BUT I WILL IN A FEW HOURS. JUST PUTTING THIS OUT THERE FOR ANY LAST MINUTE TOUCH-UPS FROM THE EXPERTS/YOU GUYS OR GALS.

DONT MIND SPENDING THE EXTRA MONEY, ALTHOUGH I AM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS THAT COULD POTENTIALLY LEAD TO A CHEAPER MORE EFFICIENT RIG. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS? HOW DO YOU THINK I WILL DO WITH SOME OF THE NEWER VIDEO GAMES WITH THIS BUILD?

if ur looking for efficiency, u could pick a geforce 285 instead two 260s. it will give more room for upgrade later on and wouldnt consume as much power(so u can use a smaller PSU uf ur aiming to save cost). there will be some performance loss, but its not gonna be significant. besides, having an SLI than a single board is more complicated to optimize cuz there's the tweaks, heat management, programs that doesnt support SLI and so on. =D

if u wanna cut cost so u'll get to ur 2000$ budget, maybe cancel the CPU cooler, as long as u dont OC ur CPU like crazy, and regularly dust off ur stock cooler, it should work fine.

everything else seems solid. =D

I never went through with that purchase. im still waiting for some prices to drop, plus i wont be home to build it until june so no since in buying the products now. i have made some changes from that original list. all these products are from newegg.com

im leaving out the video card because im still unsure what i want to do. im leaning towards two msi ocv4 gtx 260s. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127430

The XCLIO case is toolless, i have one. Even if you didn't have a toolless case you don't need a tool kit - go buy a screwdriver.
Replace your rear case fan with: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185054 (if you don't mind noise... I don't hear mine over music or game sound, even with just headphones on and no sound).
Aswell for PCI-E network cards I suggest either http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124069 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127213. Theres a better D-Link one somewhere else but I cannot find it right at the moment. It just personal preference, I don't like Rosewill.
Also, throw in a Razer Deathadder, and if you're gaming... NEVER NEVER NEVER USE WIRELESS KEYBOARD OR MOUSE...
Other than that everything seems in order. I would follow jukyake's advice though and switch your graphics cards.
