My beloved country is nearing its final death thoes.

While this guy is a scum sucking moron, it is (or was) his constitutional right to be so.

This post alone, from you not him, makes you a liberal, as much as it might pain you...

Don't be confused about what a liberal is. It's been more than warped in todays day and age. It's not about Republican or Democrat. It's about freedom. Most miss that fact.

Freedom without rules and regulation is anarchy. Anarchy is short, brutal, and never good.

I haven't read their blog, nor will I because it seems this person was trying to make a point saying "Its good this happened because now this is happening." Cause and effect.

Praising the results caused by the tragedy is tough to do since people like to attack before listening and understanding.

Huh? I thought conservatives were for the free market. So you now want more regulation???

I'm not hardcore conservative.

I'm prochoice. I support government programs for the poor and needy. I believe it is required but needs to be regulated more and stop helping those who are looking for handouts.

I took some time over the weekend to watch "The Pursuit of Happiness."

Great movie showing the guy's life. True story. A single black man trying to make it in what was shown as a white world. He worked hard and within a year he was what he wanted to be. At the end of the movie is the only other time a black person is shown dressed to appear successful and not poor.. walking in a suit across the the street behind him while Will Smith looks over his shoulder at him.

Democrats/Liberal tend to want to give too much, Republicans/Conservative not enough. There needs to be a balance and a social system in place, which was originally the Church.

I do not believe we should be handing out money as readily as we do. I believe in giving people the basic necessities: food, water, shelter, clothing. Not a paycheck for having kids and not wanting to work, or SS disability because you have too many kids, lack the skills to get a job, etc.

We are all in control of what we become, who we become and ultimately, you get what you put into it.

How about this? Government subsidized on premise employee day care. Then they have no excuse not to go to work.

Free drugs 10 miles off-shore, but they have to swim, they have to do all the drugs on the island, they have 30 minutes total to leave, and they have to swim back.

If you can't afford drugs, don't do them.

If you can't afford kids, don't have them.

@riser.

I believe that guy was the one the movie was written about.

A little bit of an insider/cameo.

Really nice ending? You fcuking tard, it was a true story.

It could have been a cameo. I was going to look up to get a picture of the guy to check but didn't really bother. I did note he was the only other black person in the movie dressed 'successfully.'

Did anybody else see the picture of him dangling from a rope with his starfish on display doing the Virgin Atlantic launch thing the other week? We got told to take down the pics in the office as apparently we're not allowed to take the piss out of Richard.

I suspect the guy the movie was about, still being alive, would want a rather true story especially since his name and reputation is on the line. Dead people it doesn't really matter.

As far as the suit.. working in the sector he was, everyone either wore a suit or dressed professionally. Of course it is a message. But the only other black person to wear a suit and not be a homeless person was in the end after success.

I see movies like this as messages to the black community but who knows if its picked up.

Riser, Jesus F'n Christ man.

A 30 second Google got this for me:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Gardner

The black guy, in the suit, at the end of the flik is Chris Gardner, the guy the movie was about.

Unless you are talking about another black guy in a suit at the end of the movie....

Sorry. I don't sit at home on my computer all the time. I have more important things to do.

Went to the bar, watched the game, ate dinner. Left there to another house to pick up Christmas cookies and other things and drink a beer or two.

Sorry. I need to get a better life and stay home playing on the internet more because I obviously don't do that all day while I'm getting paid.

Plus, how's your own project of a fat, sweaty woman p!ssing on a disabled cat?

I don't have a sister. You're obsessed with my so called sister and its concerning.

Fat sweaty women are amazing RC style: plastic sheet over the bed, a lot.. erm.. economy size lube, and it was like holding onto a greased pig.

Apart from not much too look at, too much of them, not to mention personal hygiene (though it is also true for the slimmer, athletic women) Some don't even look like women.

Blow up dolls aren't a biological sister, but it's the nearest thing you have.
