Server ONLY Memory

Does exist any SERVER ONLY MEMORY?

My question is because of my last adquisition:

Kingston KTH-MLG4/1G
The information says that it's compatible with HP/Compaq pavillion serers.

I have a Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4.
Would the memory be compatible with my motherboard?
(I can't test it by several reasons not important right now...)

In theory there is no such thing as "server" memory. However, in practice, servers can use only "registered" memory, and "normal" boards only "unbuffered" memory. Thus, I am almost certain the memory in your link (which is registered) will NOT work in the MB. Sorry!
