W-Lan Connection interupts, especially in the evening

Well, first i would like to say, that my English isn´t so good; i hope you´ll understand my problem...

I have some misterious disconnects of my W-Lan!
First a short overview of the hardware I´m using:
AMD 64 3500+
Windows XP SP2
MB: Abit AV8
Router: Siemens SE515
W-Lan Card: Sitecom Wireless Network PCI Adapter 54G WL-115

My Problem:

Especially in the evening the whole connection to my router interupts, there are no constant intervals betwen the disconnects. With every hour in the evening they get more and more.

Sometimes the latenz, usually i have 60 to 100ms in online games, gets up to 15k (15000) ms.

But on some evenings, every thing is normal. It drives me crazy, i can´t find the reason of this disconnects and why it is only on some days...


A friend just said, that it could be, that another machine is sending on the same frequenze as my network. Is this true? How can i do something aganist this disconnects?

Do a site survey with NetStumbler (http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/) when you are having problems and see if someone has another wireless device interfearing with yours.

If you do find a device interfering with you wireless, set your router to use a different channel.
