I'm going to be building a new system with XP Pro and then going to Vista Business when it comes out. I'm not really a gamer but play an occasional game and am not interested in overclocking. I mostly use Adobe CS2, etc. Any suggestions or does this setup look okay?

Would the memory you suggest be in the "value select" line? Also, would it really be better because the memory I selected is about 40 bucks less after rebate...

I looked at the POWERCOLOR X1950PROXTR512M and really like it but have a couple of questions.

1. Will the Sonata II's 450 power supply handle it?
2. Will it be 100% compatible with Vista?

Thank's for all your help!

I'm sure no expert in video, but these statements seem majorly inconsistent. From what I've been reading, a casual gamer will probably be more than happy with a 7600GT which is significantly cheaper.

You don't need a DX10 card to run Vista.

What do you mean by "fully support" as far as dx10? Does Vista's GUI and AERO actually require it? I mean to say, is the OS crippled at all by not having a card with dx10 capabilities?
