First,
Does any one know of the release time for the DFI LANPARTY UT ICFX3200 T2R/G AKA RD600?

Second,
To take advantage of triple physx what do you recommend a temporary solution for the video card if I get this mother board. Most bang for the Money, until i switch it over to triple physx

Can't wait! err, don't like the 680 reference layout, the P5N32 gets so-so preview( got any reviews, anyone?), the Abit ain't comming anytime soon in North America, Striker is uber expensive!. ERRRR, what to do, need a computer in exactly 1 month from now...

haha, I got that same problem. I'm just chilling till Jan though, since I just plopped down 100 bucks for a new laptop hdd, imma squeeze all I can from it (OF ALL MY HDD'S TO DIE, IT HAD TO BE THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERED...)

The eVGA isin't too bad, I can live with it if I have too, although the 4mb OC wall does kill it a bit...

I can't wait, when I get back home I NEED a desktop, especially since my personal laptop died =( and I will give back my work laptop...

I really hate the little annoying thing on the eVga namely: Front panel connection, and the fact that some little resistor/capacitor/whatevertor are on the back of the card and might interfere with my Tuniq.

Oh and on a side note, just bought a TJ09 Black with window, 286$ Shipped, small computer shop, but paid with PayPal so I think it's safe. With a window I can't have FP cables at where they are on the eVga, that's just not neeat ;-)

You're laptop died? How did it die? DID IT GO UP IN FLAMES!!!!!?!?!?!

Nah, my laptop hdd died, RIP 7200RPM 60gig Hitachi Travelstar 2004-2006

Hmmm.. you know, I have a great way for you to wait a couple of weeks. 250 bucks for Wii, and then a couple more bucks for games. That should keep you occupied until better stuff come out...

Hopefully though, there should me more 680i mobo designs from the major manufactuers (hopefully) so you'll have more options.

Not nearly as nice as It could've been.

It started shutting down, at random interval, nothing in the Log. Didn't analyse the memory dump because I had better stuff to do...

And then on night, when I powered it up, only the fan is running, full speed(like it does before the Bios Kicks in) and thats it, same happens with no Hd, no memory, no optical...

the problem is that it fell from my back pack maybe a year ago right on the road, the Case being in Magnesium it didn't get that much damage, so I dont know if it'll still be under warranty. The laptop is roughly 2.5years old, Fujitsu...really liked it.

Finally I need a computer, not only for games, but for school/internet/stay alive 8)

So I can't wait, I can always get my friend to lend me a P5B for a little while, though.

/Cross Finger big time for RD600 ASUS / other 680 boards / Early DFI RD600!

The Inq is all weve got right now. Even tough that information comes from a 'reliable' source I highly doubt itll be released any time soon.
Unless they rush it like they always do and fix the BIOS later...

Keep an eye on Anandtech.com for a preview on RD600 a week from now.

Cool thanks for the heads up...

Hey, wrong forum but that Crucial 10th anniversary ram disappeared =(, so did the GEIL Ultra I was looking at =(.

Any recommendation based on current, and near term availability?
~240ish for something that can do PC2-6400C4 is the sweet spot, only the XMS2 is close to that right now...

I'd get the Corsair 6400C4D just because I'd want to be different, although I still believe the Dominator heatspreaders don't really do much. I'm actually worried if I get that it might have clearance issues with aftermarket heatsinks etc...

Yeah, Corsair's prices are decent right now with their rebate. I'm thinking though, after the winter buying season, prices should drop across the board as demand goes down... hopefully...

There are some Mushkin 667 CL3 for that price but theyre using sucky chips and quite limited in headroom.
Remmber OCZ Platinum Revision 2?

Reply to rwaritsdario

Yeah kinda trying to stay away from OCZ but I might end up getting them anyway,.

I'll look into the mushkin see just how limited they are. I think I will be tottaly happy at 3.6ghz 1:1 DDR800...

Thanks!
