Hey guys,
Hopefully I can make this as less confusing as possible. So just today I ordered a new computer. Well might as well be because I got everything buy the power supply and video card. Anyways, I want to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit on my brand new 1TB hard drive. Currently I have a 250gig (lulz) on Windows Vista.
Basically I was just wanting to know how I should go about this. Do I have to first connect my new hard drive to my new computer, install vista on it, then install Windows 7 64 bit? NOTE: I will be upgrading via the student upgrade which I do believe it a digital download. Or can I just use my old hard drive somehow to get Windows 7?
Sorry if this comes out as a noob question but I have never upgraded my computer before and I kinda don't know what im doing. Trying to get the facts straight before my shiny new PC arrives in about 2-3 days.
Thanks alot guys
