I have an ASUS A8n5X motherboard. I updated the bios and tried installing the onboard marvall LAN interfaces but I get no connection, the lab LED shines orange and I can't find the marvell LAN in the device manager section. Suggestions?

Make sure the network card is enabled in the bios.

Is marvell firewall on?

How do I know if the Marvell firewall is on?

My OS doesn't detect the LAN interface at all.

Wait... doesn't the A8N5X only have 1 network connection? That is probably an nVidia network controller rather than a Marvell. The chipset drivers will load the network card as well.
