wow, i feel sorry for you, the prices there are insane! an E6300 for €190? anyway. i agree wiht mpilchfamily, you might want to lookinto a different mobo, like the asus p5b, i looked it up on that site and its like 148 there, the chipset you choose wasnt really designed to work with the C2D's they just happened to. the 965 chipset on the p5b on the other hand was, so it'll be alot better.

asus P5B

first of all those are worlds better then the board you where thinking about before. between the two i would probably go with the Neo-F simply because im not sure if the nvidia 570 chipset would play nice with your 1950pro.

Tell me about it the prices are a disgrace here in Ireland you dont know how lucky yee are, anyway the €148 is a bit too high for me i just cant see where I can scrap the extra cost of the Asus mobo off my system I was maybe thinking off going 1gb instead off 2gb but im not sure I might need it.

What do you think of this mobo http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=324426 here its the highest price I can go.

Im not a huge gamer thats really into graphics and stuff so ghosting and such wouldnt really bother me too much I had a very cheap lg lcd monitor for 2 years and it didnt really annoy me,well it did some times but not enough to put me off or anything.

The monitor is the key it gives the illusion of a good deal still its better than the crap you get at dell for €600 or 700 at least he got a graphics card that can play games

I'd say go for the LCD. A CRT is going to cost you the same price (at least @ komplett).

I was going to recommend shop4memory.com since their DDR2 memory used to be cheaper than komplett, but it went up recently.
Also elara.ie aren't a bad shop, - you'll sometimes find a few bits that are cheaper than komplett, but that's usually in the line of keyboards and cases.
