  1. The OCZ gold series has never failed me, plus there timings are tight.
Bolth the DDR1 and DDR2 is good ive tryed bolth myself, i love the stuff.
I cant say 100% that it works on this board though cause ive never used it on this abit board.

  2. ok, i've decided to change the mobo to a Asus P5B Deluxe!

I assume this RAM would be a good choice? > http://www.memory-configurator.com/products/description/2Gb_OCZ_DDR2_PC2_6400_Special_Ops_Edition_Dual_Channel_kit/index.html?countryc=GB

    yes? no?

Overall.. I need a system to play CS 1.6 (Dedicated gfx get atleast 60fps.. so it doesnt take much to get the perfect 100) I'd like to expand to some other games.. but that isn't important right now.

Basically.. CS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ect.. I chose the 6400 so I could learn more about overclocking.. reading about it... just isnt the same :(
  5. Get some DDR2-800 CL4 and you'll be good for plenty of OCing. Here's the cheapest one I found at the vendor from your post: http://www.memory-configurator.com/products/description/2Gb_G_Skill_DDR2_PC2_6400_PK_Series_4_4_4_12_Dual_Channel_kit/index.html
