Yes that's right... demand for the new nVIDIA GPU's has been extremely weak. Some analysts are claiming it's because of the G84/86 coming out in January but honestly ask around and you'll see why.
Most people believe that ATi's (oops I mean AMD's) R600 will be significantly faster. It has therefore stalled a bunch of would-be buyers having them wait to see what ATi/AMD have to offer first.
This makes sense, as I am one of those VERY same buyer's. The G80 did not impress me, it on upped the x1K series on a number of fronts and where performance is considered it's no slouch... but some feeling.. something odd inside of me has me wondering about the R600.
And as such we have articles like this HERE!
