Need help to judge whats best.

Thinking about getting:

evga nforce 680i sli mobo
c2d intel 6300
evaa nforce 8800 gts
corsair xms2 2048 (2x1gb) ram
seagate barrucada 7200rpm 350gb

I have an Antec 550w power supply and an older Antec case.

Is it worth it to keep the c2d 6300 or upgrade to a higher speed?
Is it worth it to pay the extra money for the 8800 gtx? I think its almost 200 dollars more...
Thoughts on the barracuda versus the raptor?

Any other suggestions that can make it better? I mainly play WOW and BF2 if that makes a difference. Please help.

So, you are saying that there may be an issue regarding the 8800 gts and the power supply? Is there a minimum power supply that I should get?
