Given that theyre both CL4, the Patriot is the safest choice.

Neither go at newegg and buy the XMS2 5400UL for 130 a pop with micron's and overclock to 800 and even 1000mhz if you need.

I can only afford 1gb atm and i can get the Twinx for 100 shipped to my door.

so should i or should i pass?

They both will do over 400Mhz, thats for sure. But the Patriot could go as far as 500Mhz... w/e suits your needs.
