If you are going with 570, go ahead and get an ATI 3200 Express mobo, or 590 mobo. They support full x16 speed. The ATI one even runs cooler too.

As for memory, you don't need to spend that much for only 2GB. Get OCZ, G-Skill, maybe even A-Data. Of course Corsair will have better brand name, but is it worth the price? G-Skill has a better performance/price ratio.

Other than that, you look ok from what I can tell. I have that same hard drive too.

I would suggest going C2D with a $1000 budget, but thats up to you.

go for the 590 chipset its got better features such as full pcie x16. check out the asus crosshair, its got 3 pci slots although you will lose 1 if you do go for sli at somepoint.
also look into replacing the stock cooler to cut the temps down. zalman & as5 are always a good combo for that
