Hi all,

a vender is advertising a 1700 MHz battery for my dell x30 for 20.00 and
free shipping. It looks like this is not a branded product. Is this a
dangerous move and should I just fork out the moola for one from dell?
Opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

MHz? That's one fast battery ;-), but I know you meant to type mAh. You
don't say what currency that is, I guess $, but I think 20 of any hard
currency is suspiciously cheap for a 1700mAh Li-Ion battery, I'd be careful
about that.

Thanks Tony,

I did mean mAh...guess my spellchecker did a number on it. Thanks. I think I
will avoid a cheap route and take the offering by dell and get support along
with it...definitely a consideration for my future use. 20 dollar variety
doesn't have support. Sounds too scary for me. I just got burned on a off
brand charger for my device that trashed my pins on the sync port so I am
going to stick with dell products from now on.
