i want to spend about 300-400 € on a lcd screen
need to cut some bucks back any advice?

without my screen this is 1554 €

does also anyone know if the zalman fits on the asus

i am planning for a serious oc so my question is will this give me the same cooling as the zalman.
and yes, this is for the cpu.

I have the AC7Pro on my X6800 CPU and at stock idle... cpu temps at 25C

But I do use the Speedstepping setting in the bios.. Idle I run at 1.6GHZ..

when on load I tag about 33-36C at 2.9ghz

do i really need this 800 ram or will the oc also be possible with the 667

667 ram is fine for a moderate oc, but 800 is what you should be getting for OC-ing, and ive noticed that 667 ram is only a couple bucks cheaper anyway, so you might as well get 800.

AC7Pro is a great cooler, but maybe not the top choice for "seriously high overclocking".
The same is true for the ASUS P5W DH - it might be the best overclocking 975 motherboard but some of the 965 motherboards will overclock higher.

but as you see i wanna go for the max. AirCooled OC.
