Is there an app for XP that will allow a computer on my small home network
to access and run an application that resides on another computer on the
same LAN? Netmeeting would do that but XP apparently doent allow these
remote apps to run on it.

thanks for any tips

Hi,

It's more a matter of how the program is accessed. When you run a program,
it relies on registry entries and system files that point to the location of
the program on the system. When you try to run it from another system, and
it has not been installed, those entries are missing. To do what you are
proposing, it would be best to map the drive on the system, then run setup
and point the installation to the mapped drive.
