The x1950pro is the faster of the two cards.Although the 7800gt in PCI-E is a great performer,as an AGP card it is not as good as they disabled some pixel pipes and underclocked it as well as using a cheaper memory.So ya go with the 1950pro.Goodluck.

They don't make a 7800GT in AGP, and it would be easier for you to put your system specs in your signature, then to type them out with every post you make.
The 7800 GS+ is a 7900 GT. This means it has the ability to become a 7900 GTX, but its not as easy as the X1950 Pro, wich can become an X1900XT with a overclock on air.
The X1950 Pro is the obvious choice also because it costs only 200$.
