I am living in an off campus house next year right by my university which has a really fast wireless network.

I want to know if there is a way to boost my wireless card strength to leech their bandwidth.

Any thoughts or suggestions ?

Find out where their AP('s) is, and buy a directional antenna... Then point it at the AP...

This happened to a mate of mine:

His parents work at the local university, so they had the uni install superfast internet for them. It was wired as they live about 5miles away.

One day they were told that, due to cost, they would no longer have free broadband provided by the uni.

Suffice to say, 3 days later without asking, they had it back! :roll:
