Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I'm forced to get some Kingston hyper X ram. my current hardware
CPU
AMD 3700+(sandy) @ 2.53 GHZ
Motherboard
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
Graphics Card
BFG 7900 GT OC
Cooling
2x 12 MM, 1x 8 mm
Memory
1.5 Kingston Value ram :'(
Hard Drive
Samsung 80 GB, Maxtor 300
Power Supply
Antec Truepower 480 W

I need to pick something from here
http://www.kingston.com/hyperx/products/khx.asp
KHX3200AK2/2G 2GB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL2
(Kit of 2 - 1GB) 2-3-2-6-1 2.6V
or
KHX3200K2/2G 2GB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL2.5
(Kit of 2 - 1GB) 2.5-3-3-7-1 2.6V
or
KHX3200ULK2/2G 2GB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC Ultra Low CL2
(Kit of 2) 2-2-2-5-1 2.7V

it's gota be one of the DDR400 duel channel 2 GB kits. can someone help me? I want to OC this CPU to at least 2.7 or 2.8 Ghz. I've googled and am still not sure as to which one to get. the reviews say they don't OC more than 230.
thanks for the help.

That sucks - your gonna hate it. It's really fast, stable stuff. NOT the kind of thing an enthusiast wants in their system! :?

Now, because of this rotten memory, I am able to overclock the hell out of my system, causing me to stay up way past my bedtime while I tinker with my computer. My marriage is suffering and it's mostly Kingston's fault.

I hope that you have better luck than me.

(Kit of 2 - 1GB) 2-3-2-6-1 2.6V
or
KHX3200ULK2/2G 2GB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC Ultra Low CL2
(Kit of 2) 2-2-2-5-1 2.7V
I need to get my CPU to 2.8 GHz, I've read this ram is a b**** to OC, but it's this or valueram, and VR...SUCKS!

I'm pretty sure it was sarcasm buddy. :p Hyper X ram is good ram. It might not be Corsair, but it's pretty darn close.

I'm pretty sure ULK2 will OC better of the two. Tighter timings/lower latency.

lol, I'm new to this overclocking stuff.
whats the difference between KHX3200ULK2/2G and KHX3200AK2/2G(specs posted below) I know the timings are better on the KHX3200ULK2/2G, will it OC better?

I've been using PC 400 Hyper-X for the last year. OC'd my athlon 3000 (333 FSB) without any problems on the ram side. CPU just doesn't OC enough to make it worth it but kept tight timings through-out. 6,3,3,2

I don't know for certain, you'll have to ask someone that knows more about memory clocks. I've got my 3500LL Pro running at 2-3-2-6 T1 but my CPU is slow. I'm not going to attempt any overclocks until I get the FX-60. (sock 939). Then I'll put this X2 4200+ over into my Lan party system.
