How do you overclock video cards? I have a geforce 7800gt. is the some program you have to download or something?

Coolbits or nTune. Fairly simple ways to OC. A lot of review sites also show's you how to do it.

What is the best utility to monitor your graphics card temperature? If you have stock cooling, does that make OCing your card a no go?

If you are using Nvidia cards, Nvidia control panel provide temperature monitor which is quite more or less is precise.

No. You can OC it a little but not until extreme.

use nVidia Control Panel or Leadtek WinFox II
you can reach 450/1100 or even 475/1150 with the stock cooling just make sure that your temp is ALWAYS under 75c :!: :!: :evil:
