Oops! What about the de Havilland Comet, which had entered commercial service long before the Boeing 707. In fact it had entered service in the early 1950's and had begun having explosive decompressions and was pulled from service for a re-design long before the 707 was even test flying. Please get the facts straight before putting news stories up!
