I am trying to overclock to ATLEAST 333mhz FSB but my P5B-Deluxe will NOT post @ anything over 330, It's IDLE @ 36c and 45c LOAD @ 325.. so I doubt temperature is an issue, my ram is rated for 667, so shouldnt the ram be able to handle 333? mind you it is solid as a rock @ 325, however I want MORE!

voltage is set to 1.3125
fsb = 325x9
ignore temp = enabled (under harwdware monitor)
everything else is auto and using SPD
the cpu-information section has everything disabled.

durring post ram is shown as pc-4300, but its really pc-5300
also in CPU-Z it shows the memory @ 325mhz with a 1:1 ratio
.

c1e = enable
executive disable bit = enable

rest are disabled...

Update to bios 0804! then
Put this exact settings in your bios :

First DISABLE everything in "CPU Config" TAB. Only set manual Multiplier at 8X here.

In Free jumper tab put this :

Cpu ratio (FSB) - 401
Ram - 802 (should switch automatically when u change FSB)
PCI - 110
PCi clock 33.33
Spread spectrum - disabled
Vdimm - 2.1V
Vcore - 1.4V
VFSB term - 1.3V
V Nb - 1.45V
V Sb - 1.6V
V ICH - 1.057V

In North Bridge config Tab set this ;

Manual config
First 4 boxes - 5/5/5/15
The next ones leave them as they are

In Hard monitor tab ... set all fans control - DISABLE

If it posts ... come back .. i'll tell u what to to next

Nevsis.
I have the same Mobo. But with a 6400. With the Latest BIOS 0804 my CL5 800M RAM is happy at 3.5G (437FSB). So its not the board nor the CPU. Its either Vcore or its your ram. I have noticed that with my RAM if i manually set the same settings for RAM timings(a SPD uses) it wont post, but if i use SPD then it posts beautifully and holds many load test for hours.

So IMHO check RAM setup and check Vcore. I reckon your 667 RAM will be good for FSB of 350.

sweeet titties!! thanks guys... all I had to do was update from bios 0614 > 0804 AND change vdimm from 1.8 > 2.0 easily does 350 FSB

thanks again!
