Alright, I finally have my new pc components ready to assemble.

E6300
P5W DHD
2gb Geil 6400 C4.

Now, im going to buy a Zalman 9500 tomorrow but not sure if I should buy the AT (PWM auto fan control) or LED (pretty blue led :D ). PWM sounds great but ive read that some people dont trust automatic fan control so should I just get the LED?

Also, Thermal Paste/Grase. I have a small tube of Zalman grease that came with a NB heatsink. Will this do for the CPU HSF or should i buy AS even though I will only need it once or twice?

screw the Zalman, there good hsf's, but for like 10 bucks cheaper you can get a Scythe Infinity, a much better cooler imo.

My local computer shop were out of Zalmans so I reluctantly settled for the Freezer Pro 7. Im too impatient to order online and wait till Monday when I could have it up and running this weekend. Ive read the FP7 is as good if not better, at almost half the price but just not as pretty  Guy in the shop told me the pad on it was artic silver too, lies.

Wasted thread really :D

Stop buying that expensive mid performance cpu cooler. Get better ones.

Look for this coolers.

Tuniq Tower 120
Thermalright Ultra-120
Thermaltake Big Typhoon

But if you're not overclocking much then the Zalman should do fine.

"Thermal Interphase Material: Pre-applied MX-1 Paste"
is what I found after looking around some sites.
