My samsung tv displays a black and white picture when connected to my playstatio

Hello,
i recently tried to watch a film from my ps3 on my samsung tv but the picture was displayed in black and whit? any help guys? much appreciated

You plugged the yellow video lead (the other two are audio) into one of the RGB video inputs .... try the yellow component input socket instead.
