Ive been browsing for a new mobo since i wish to get an E6400, i and came upon the cheapest yet ive seen for a C2D that uses the 975X chipset im just wondering if its good or bad?

with the just released BIOS it's supposed to be pretty good & apparently it's relatively cheap in the US (it isn't in the UK - I can buy an AW9D cheaper here).

Thats a very nice deal actually. But going 975X isnt for everyone. What video card setup will you have and how far do you want to OC?

Well i wish to buy 1066mhz Patriot ram thats going for 190$ and hope to OC the E6400 to 3.0ghz. Currently i got a 7900GT but down the line i wish to get the R600.

That memory is definetly overkill for your overclock. OCZ Platinum revision 2 is $210 for 2GB and willperform just fine your needs.
The X1950Pro outperforms even a 7950GT..
