Hello,

My Western Digital myBook isn't auto-detected by Windows 7. What to do? I'm using a Toshiba Sagtellite L675D. Thanks.

By auto-detect you mean it does not run the wizard that asks you what to do with the files (Play, Open, etc..)? Does the drive show up in My Computer or in disk manager? Sometimes Windows will assign a drive letter already in use to an external disk, in which case simply changing it to a non-used on in disk manager will fix this.

Doesn't even show the drive in the disc management. I read elsewhere it's a Windows 7 issue, and there may be some workaround, but none of the ones I tried have worked for me.
