i have an uber shitty mobo... my max post was nearly 2.9... stable is and has been for quite some time now... 2.7Ghz

I am getting a new board soon... i hope to reach 3Ghz

Depending on the revision you could really hit 3+ on air... hell... on stock volts too

yea i got my window opened and it's mighty cold out here. my cpu temp is 25c lol normally its around 34c-35c...


i will probably hit 2.5ghz and just leave it.

i have gotten my 3700 up to 2730 mhz with a a8n sli32 deluxe.
but thats with stock vlts never tried any higher vlts though.

could only get 2510mhz with same cpu and msi k8neo4 sli mobo.

I know what your talking about with the MSI, I ahve the same board and it is absolutely horrible
It only allowed me to take my athlon 3000 from 1.8 to 2, most people get theirs to about 2.7

that is the same mobo i had and rma,ed it for another.
my brother has been using the rma,ed one for about 6 months or more.
and it would not recognize an x2 4600 dualcore. only one core.
he was previously using a 3500clawhammer.

switched to and older single pci-e msi mobo and got his x2
to run both cores.

yes the older board reads both cores and the newer one
i gave to a friend. it works too just cant use an x2 in it.
well you could but only one core will run in it.
