More Information

Although I have a post regarding the basics on these two boards, I was hoping someone could give me the overclocking potential of each.

In the end it might tip the scales if although the AMD is not as good as the Intel if it overclocks better and more stable, the bang for buck still might be worth getting the AMD, not that i've had recommendations so far to get the C2Q , here is my two specs..

AMD AM2 6000+ (90nm) chip
Asus M2N32 WS Professional MB
4gb DDR2 800mhz Ram (or higher if possible)
2 x 8800 GTX SLi cards runnig true PCI-e 16x

or

Intel Core 2 Quatro QX6700 (65nm) Chip
Asus P5WDG2 WS Professional MB
4gb DDR2 800mhz Ram (though I've been told it will run 1066mhz PC8500)
2 x ATI Radeon X1950XTX Crossfire running @ PCI-e 8x

also do I wait for the 6000+ will it be worth it or do i get the 5400+ and save some bucks or even should I go for the C2D 6800 @ 2.97 ghz instead of C2Q @ 2.6 ghz

which would be best value and overclock the best?

thanks 1DMF
