What are the hardware requirements for a Geforce 8X series with DX10?

I am currently looking into putting together a new custom home built system and was wondering do certain mobo's not support the new technology I guess If I need help understanding if there are requirements that should be taken into account with Mobo's / CPU / Memory selection if considering buying a GF8X graphics card. I guess I dont want to throw a ferrari of a graphics card into a economy car of a motherboard or cpu

Please advise.

Any PCI express motherboard will handle the 8800.

As far as a PSU, I'd look for a name-brand 500w unit at the very least.

Remmember the 32A on the +12v minimum.

Any Motherboard with a vacant PCI-E 8x-16x slot with vacant space for dual slot cooling will do the trick. But I'm assuming your talking about your motherboard and CPU being bottleneck's to that dirty great card. I don't think you Motherboard will present any bottlenecks and I havn't done research into CPU's bottlenecking 8800's but I've heard to give the card freedom you need at least an C2D E6600 or equivalent (FX-62).
