Two Monitors and Video?

Hi,

I need some help/advice on a system setup.

How can I get two independent monitors and a video clone(copy) of one of the monitors? The pc only has one agp slot. It is not for gaming, only for running a projection system, with the video feed for the purpose of recording what is projected. (doesn't need to be high resolution)

Most cards have two monitor outputs and a video output but all the ones I have used only output two of the three outputs at any one time. Are there cards around that output to all three outputs at the same time?

Or do I need to get a PCI card as well? Are there any PCI cards available with a decent video output?

Or am I looking at a new motherboard and two PCIe cards?

Thanks, Justin.

Hey Justin504,
In order to get three monitors you will need an additional video card. You can, if you wish use a PCI card along with your AGP (should your motherboard allow, double check with your motherboard manufacture).

Just get a matrix dual-head. It is a simpler solution than getting another video card which might force you to get a new mobo if your current one don't have two PCI slots.
