Hi,
I am wondering what the maximum range available is on a decent wireless
webcam? What sort of money am I looking at and do they really work or are
they gimmicks?
I want to set a webcam up looking down the harbour, but the computer is to
be stationed some way off.

The new Network TrackerCam is an 802.11g wireless pan/tilt webcam
Info here:
It works with the Logitech QuickCam Pro (and other webcams) which has
a high quality CCD image sensor that can capture images in light
conditions as low as 1 lux.
