Finally a CEO who speaks sense. Dial-up is plenty fast enough. Now I haven't seen any figures, but when I went to see just how fast this "broadband internet" was all I saw were technofreaks everywhere.

They frighten me so.

Poor UK guys. Horrible teeth, broken, half aborted version of the english language, and now they get 4G late. Whats next, they have to suffer camera's on every corner?

I'd rather be a "colonial" any day. Its the 4th of July all year long fools!

[citation][nom]ankit0x1[/nom]here in India, 10GB plan is for $50 (1100rs) FOR DAMN 3G.....2Mbps ...LTE is beyond dream.....[/citation]

That's $20, not $50.

"I haven't seen any figures but when I visited an EE store to see how fast it was all I saw was technofreaks in there," Colao is quoted as saying.[/]

I hate people who think that an interest in technology is something "freaky".

Don't know what to say to this really, there is too much i want to say in response to this, the first part of your comment is plain racist, we in the UK currently ALREADY have 4G, we don't have "horrible teeth" we get free healthcare including dental care from the government.

I can't be asked to explain why I would much rather live in the UK than the USA anyday, heres a list of a few:

Not racist. Kidding. Just like telling women to go to the kitchen.

Ah, yes, that famous UK National Health System

http://www.christianpost.com/news/uk-doctor-claims-state-hospitals-killing-elderly-patients-to-free-up-beds-77052/

Forty-three hospital patients starved to death last year and 111 died of thirst while being treated on wards, new figures disclose today.

Now that IS a model for the world to emulate.

Of course he is going to say that. His company does not offer the service yet. When Vodafone has 4G LTE, I bet he says it is the greatest thing ever.

we're all over 4G here in our USA firm.
users, not many technofreaks among them, LOVE THE HECK OUT OF IT.
a big winner in the normalfreak market.
even cloud work benefits from faster bandwidth.
maybe Vodafone is going there...?

To give people an idea how fast it is. Verizon's USB hotspot gets 30Mbps up and 30Mbps down. Yes that's both ways and faster than almost anything commercially availalble all for 80 bucks a month. Unless you want to spend 1500 a month for slower speeds and no caps.

Of course, EE has jumped on the bandwagon, tweeting the picture you see above with a message that reads, "In case you were curious, everyone is welcome on #4GEE...including "technofreaks."
Awesome comeback. This should be a billboard.

I pay the same amount for 30 Mbps down and 15 Mbps up. What is your latency on that and how reliable is it. Whenever I tried using my GS3 as a Tether it pulls fast data but it is unusable for gaming due to latency and connection consistency issues.

Nice try, but fail. That is why I put up a Telegraph Article. There are more that any simple google search would pull up. If you cared to look.

Considering that the USA spends 2.4x what the UK does on healthcare per person - http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=average+healthcare+spend+uk+usa - yes, it is. Better all over healthcare, no people who can't afford healthcare..... Oh no such a shame, let's just have healthcare run as a business. I'd much rather spend only 40% of what I do on healthcare. That'll save me thousands per year. I don't know about you but I WANT THOSE THOUSANDS.

I don't really think any country is in a position to call themselves better than anyone else. So please keep your awesome opinions to yourselves.

Unless you are Australia, they have a amazing economy and the women aren't half bad. (Accents are terrible though).

This is hilarious. No doubt whatever hick school you went to taught you that America invented everything and that the Earth is flat but where exactly do you think the English language came from? Hint: starts with "Eng", ends with "land".
