I'm trying to build a new system that will be a monster for games. I'm looking at the core 2 due 6600 and a MSI 975x mobo. My new problem is getting a PCI-Express Video Card that will let me do Crossfire mode.

I can't find anything that lists the best pairs of cards for Crossfire mode.

Does anyone have two ATI cards set up this way? What cards are they and how much did they cost?

Thanks

Mike D.

you may be better off just getting one 8800 from nvidia. however, if you want crossfire then 2 x1950's are the best there is AFAIK.

you will also need a master card until more cards come out on the 80nm process with the composition chip intergrated into the GPU.

anyway my cards are in my sig and i dread to think how much they cost. i bought one in feb of this year and the other in august.

btw the cost was between £650-700, crazy i know
