Looks very solid. I have the exact same hard drive and let me tell you it's awesome. :D  Only thing that I might change is the power supply. You might want more power if you want to get an 8 series GeForce. Like a 600Wor 650W. The 520W might be fine though. Here's some links to a good PSUs

From what I've read, the Corsair 520W is able to power one 8800 series video card, correct me if I'm wrong. I don't plan on getting more than one video card, so any more power would be a waste.

Well, It should power it, but I would rather be safe than sorry. For 20 dollars cheaper you can get a 650W and you'd be well in the green or you can get a 700W for the same price up front. With the 520W it would be kinda cutting it close.

I suggest getting a 480w p&c psu, they generally have the best quality, no need for 650+ watts for only one card

Big problem ordering windows xp home with upgrade to vista.xp Home upgrades to vista home, (no aero, no media center) to upgrade to vista premium you have to pay an extra $80. Please read around, you don't want vista home you want vista home premium. Do what I did and order windows xp MCE 2005 (only $109) with a free upgrade to vista home premium.
I would get the cheaper Cooler Master Centurion 5 case neweggg # N82E26811119068 that is $44 and has a $15 rebate. The Cooler Master has exactly the same specs and has 800+ 5star average reviews. please check it out.
Finally I must agree with the other posters, just get the OCZ 700 it has many excellent review and it runs cool and quiet. It is a top quality power supply just like antec or PC P&C, and it's the same price as the corsair. !?!?!?!?!

only one problem, actually vista requires dx10 (not testing version), and he has a 7900gs, so either way, that coupon is useless

Sorry but vista works just fine with dx9 card. Unless there is something you know that I don't. My 6800gt works fine with RC2. Are you saying that the final vista will not support dx9 cards? Sorry, but I don't think so. I'm glad he went with a cheaper dx9 card now so he can get a dx10 card later when the prices come down.

you need dx 9.0c or something like that, and I don't if the gs supports it, but I know the better cards do

from xtreview.com abou the 7900gs "GeForce 7900 GS: the chip, characteristics the chip have only one additional variation from the G71 which equips already GeForce 7900 gt and 7900 GTX. Thus heriting the architecture of GeForce 7, the GeForce 7900 GS is a graphics chip of class DirectX 9.0c, compatible with Shader Model 3.0. thus we finds there HDR , antialiasing transparency t...support."
His card is fine.

ok, just wanted to make sure

I don't plan on upgrading to Vista for a while! At least until the SP1/2 comes out, so I am just saving the coupon for later (Is that okay?). Also, I plan on upgrading to Vista + DX10 video card at the same time, so even if it were a problem, I would be okay.

From the upgrade faq:
14. Until when may I redeem the upgrade?
You can redeem the offer until March 31, 2007. You must complete the online ordering process and send your redemption information postmarked by this date.

So you do need to redeem it by March 31 2007. But you don't need to install it. Just use xp till your ready. But once again I need to tell you. You are wasting your money on xp home for $90 spend the extra $20 and get windows xp Media Center 2005 that qualifies for a free upgrade to vista premium. If you stay with xp home ... you pay $49 for vista home basic upgrade and $80 for vista home premium upgrade. Check this page:

Only problems is that a 480W does not have enough Amperage on the +12V rail. That is really what you have to look for, it's not the amount of power it's the amperage on the +12V rail.
