How does this look?

My friend wants a 17 inch monitor for $150 (thats his limit) and I found an LG Internation LGX70 for $120 and then $29 shipping from newegg which would satisfy his price range. I'm curious if this is a good monitor, or if I should look for something else. And if I should find something else do you guys have any suggestions?

You can find much better 17" monitors for that price these days. Sony is having a sale on the cpd e200 for $170. I imagine you can find this or something comparable for less on pricewatch.com or pricegrabber.com. I have cpd e200 and it is great. I like it's sharpness, brightness, contrast, and color better than my samsung 19" 955df.
