Interesting situation

Ive had experience with computers since 4+ years, so Im not a n00b, but this question may sound like a n00b question. I just upgraded my monitor from a Samtron 76DF to a Sony CDD??? ($260) 17". F.E.A.R.'s framerate went up atleast 5-6 FPS? VC X800gto 16pp 256 MB GDDR3 never oc'ed. I dont know if this is just coincidence or something else?

All the same programs are running when fear is.

Thanks for the reply. Actually the settings were way down (800x600 and All on medium).
