I wanted to know if this card will run on a AMD 64 3700+. Yes, i know its single core, and yes i know i need to upgrade to dual core soon. But i was kinda hoping i could push it and buy this card first. I wanted to know if my processor would comply with this card? If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

As long as you have PciE you can use a 8800gtx, but it would be limited by the cpu. You can get a 7900Gt for around $200 at newegg, and save the $450 for a new mb+cpu. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150195
