Hey all, I'm building my new gaming PC here in about a month or so, but I'm having trouble picking a good MB. I'll be putting a Core 2 Duo extreme (possibly a quadro). 4gb ram, 5-6 HDD's, SLI (8800's) etc.

I need a Good MB for Overclocking, as everything will be. It will also be watercooled (the system not the mobo :p) if that makes a difference.

I'm looking at the Asus Striker, or the Asus P5B, Abit AW9D-max, or Asus P5N32 premium.

Price Isn't really a big deal (as long as it's not excessive). I'm just looking for the best possible MB.

Striker is on the pricy side and i dont see many ups between it and the eVGA, eVGA has really good customer support, and within a week they had a bios witch increased clocking stability and improved performance with the QX6700, i own the eVGA and i havent had any problems with it here're my system specs

Core 2 Duo E6600 OC'd 3.3 Zalman 9500
eVGA 680i motherboard
2Gigz Corsair XMS 4-4-4-12 ram
8800GTX@ 625/1.9
2 WD raptors RAID 0

Yeah i saw the price for the striker and it felt like someone gave me a swift kick in the pants. I've never seen a mobo for over 400 bucks. i think i'll stick with the eVGA.

Unless Asus fixes some stuff and the prices stabilize by the time i build the PC. And i'm with you UAL, i don't see all that much difference... at least not a $150 difference.

thanks for everyone's help
