Hello All,

My Ati X700 recently died on me so I went and snagged an X1600xt Pro 512mb card from best buy for a hundred bucks yesterday. I decided to pick up a second one cause of the price and I may try to rebuild my system with a Crossfire Mobo. What crossfire Mobo would you guys recommend and do you think it's worth it? I've been hearing rumblings that Intel Crossfire Mobo's are junk due to the ATI/AMD merger, and it's not worth it to fool with them.

Thanks

Not worth it.

You would've been much better off with a single $200 card.

A X1950pro would have a lot more performance than 2 X1600 (XTs or pros?, well either way) in xfire

Return the second X1600XT; those cards in Crossfire won't be at all worth it as a single X1950Pro should be able to outperform them, let alone be supported in all games where Crossfire is not.

Yes return atleast one(if not both of em (200$ for some worthless cards =/ and from bestbuy!?) for you can get the EVGA 7600GT for 100$ from newegg. not to mention the X1600 series sucks badly as is proven by so many review sites, not to mention you got a 512mb verison with only a 128bit bus thats going to cause some serious performance issues.

120$ with a 20$ mail in, so 100$

Heck you could pick up two of them and SLI them with an ECS SLI mobo for C2D thats going for 80$
