My laptop and ipaq2210 sync and the the inbox reads updating file hierarchy
but no mail in the pocket pc everything else updates contacts, calendar etc.
I'm using outlook 2002 and the latest version of active sync, with hotmail as
my only folder in outlook. Any thoughts on what I'm fouling up. Thanks

And you've got the INBOX flagged to be synched? OPTIONS>SYNC OPTIONS?
