I think my E6600 is too hot...

I use the stock cooler and the idle temperatures are according to coretemp about 43-45°C and under load it's more than 50°C (about 52-53)
Are these temp normal? If not do you think I can get it replaced?
If not is there anything I can do except buying a new fan?
I appreciate any advice...THX

Good job, can you make this a new thread and see if you can get it to be a sticky, I've gotten fed up with suggesting to people that their HSF is fitted poorly if they are more than a bit warm.

Didn't realise about the creeping, will keep an eye out for that. Its only plastic so I should have expected it.
