More Information

I own a D975XBX "Bad Axe" motherboard. I installed a Core 2 Duo E6600 CPU on it. When ever I boot the PC, the screen remains black. I also did the bios update, that supposedly brings Core 2 Duo Processor support. The problem persisted. The CPU works fine, it is running on a MSI P965 Neo. What should I do? This is the bios version I updated it to "BIOS Update 1441 [BX97510J.86A] "

My specs:
2x 160GB Sata HDD
1x 6800GS
1x 600watts X-Finity PSU
1x E6600
