Some lights have a little sound sensor that you can put in front of one of your speakers or subwoofer. It just makes the lights flash to the beat of the music you're playing or the sound effects from a game.

A perfectly good excuse for the really loud case! :p  No really, I don't use the sound reactive stuff but I got just about similar stuff. It's Vantec Nexus fan controller with two 12" cathode lights.

So the box that it comes with that gives power to the lights has this sensor and make lights blink inside the case but doesnt that lower the life of the lights?

BTW, how cool that is?

I got one its kinda good you can adjust it to be more sensitive.

as the pc gets hotter and the fans turn harder the lights ie more noize the lights go on.

when you sleep and you dl stuff and the pc cools off the the fans slow down and the lights switch off.

Can you turn off that "sound reactive" option? Like when you dont feel like having the lights on is there a swith to turn them off?

Most of them have that option, on all the time, sound, or off...

And uh, don't worry about the life of the light, they're rated for some... 30,000 hours... and a year has less than 9,000 hours in it anyways...

Well mines is NOT gonna have graffitis or stuff like that :p

Also you have like 10000 5.25" bays! Thats cheating!! I only have 4 :(  but gonna be using all of them :D

BTW, I will be using Striker Extreme so Im waiting too :p
November 28, 2006 7:12:51 PM

Oh nice, I like the striker....but I'm going with ATI this time around, so the RD600 is my only choice.
November 28, 2006 7:13:38 PM

... well, some people spend all their time working on their case, I spend all my time BTing rare things from the internet and having a huge collection of junk on my HDD's...
November 28, 2006 7:14:51 PM

Yeah thats a good choice too but Im not willing to wait anymore since I have been waiting for the dam C55 since July 27!!!!!!!!!

And also because I prefer NVIDIA graphics :D  the way its meant to be played :D

Hey Slim....I challenge your rig to a aesthetics duel 8O .

Mine will be complete after the DFI rd600 board gets released. Currently it's getting it's 2nd coat of paint and a clear coat right now (Reflective Gunmetal Gray paint job).

I like your case plan dude, this is an old thread though so is it ready??
As for aesthetics, check this out :)
