System Temps on Core 2 6700

What are the fan RPM's supposed to be on the Intel stock fan for the 6700? I have speedfan and the most I have seen is about 900 RPM's... The temps idle at about 41 and under load it goes to around 52. I have tried to disable the autofan speed but it dosnt seem to change the fan speeds at all. Any tricks in the bios to disable the autofan speed?

Any help would be sweet.
