Which one is faster- RAID 0 - 8MB/16 MB cache
Nov 28, 2006, 4:29 AM
I just have a question related to HDD performance.
I am planning to assemble a system with RAID 0 (stripping)
Is there a major performance difference bettwen
16MB (Cache)RAID 0 and 8MB RAID 0 ?
It will cost me 60$ more if I go for two 16MB cache drives.

which faster raid cache

The extra cache deffinetly wont hurt. Unless the 60 bucks hurts you get the 16mb drives.
As far as being faster? Not sure how much if any they will be.
