OK, I've got an interesting one...

I have an Epson 860. After updating the drivers from the ones bundled in XP I have TWO printers. If I delete the old one, it comes back as soon as I reboot. Granted, it doesn't affect anything, but it's annoying.

Any ideas?

Gee...if I'd been a jock instead of a geek I could have had a career fliping burgers!!!

What if you delete the new one?

Then I won't be using the new drivers which give me some additional featurs.

Try uninstalling both, restarting your system, and when the "found new hardware" screen comes up pick "have disk" and direct it to the directory with the new driver you downloaded.
