Dell 2407WFP in Powersave

I just got my 2407WFP and its a thing of beauty. The only thing I noticed that is kind of weird and I'm not sure if I should be concerned about it. When my computer goes into power save the monitor will start slowly flashing full screens of different colors (red, green, blue, black, and white). Is this normal behavoir? If so, can it be turned off or changed. I couldn't find these answers anywhere, so I figured I'd ask here.

Interesting, that has never happened with mine. My monitor just goes black (hibernate) after awhile.
