How install static route on Linksys WRT54GS?

Installing new Linksys WRT54GS. Using DHCP on LAN side, but have one host with static IP. Added static route, and it worked ... until I rebooted the WRT54GS. Route no longer in route table (although it does appear on the form on Advanced Routing page). Get an error message when I try to Save it again.

How do I enter a persistent static route?

Your static should be outside of the DHCP range. Only DHCP should show up on the log.
